I have always loved this song. Huge hit from 1979 written by Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins and performed by the Doobie Brothers with Tiran Porter on bass. He is a ferocious bass player and this a great example of a song within a song without getting in the way and staying in your lane. This is what bass playing is all about to me.
