What a hell of a week ! When I look outside there’s a smokey haze amongst everything. It was worse yesterday than today though, parts of LA came in at 120 degrees fahrenheit this past week, while where I live about 40 miles north and on the coast it usually doesn’t get past 80.
Fires are burning like hell over the state, but we haven’t seen too much of that here on the coast of Ventura County. Although the air quality is poor, the windows have to remain closed.
In other news, I got word that a track that I played on “Sandro’s Song” from Italian artist Roberto Tola album “Colors”, has been nominated for a grammy award. Nominated, not won. We’ll see what happens. You never know in this business. Go pick up a copy of his record at http://robertotola.com/ . I’d love to know what you think.
I’ve got a pretty full load of recording sessions for various artists and a livestream show coming up soon as well with another artist. I’ll be sure to write again before any of that happens.
Also check out my merchandise page if you feel the need or want. I’m teaching to those who are interested via zoom as well. Please contact me if you are interested.
