Huge thanks to Floyd Nation last night. The last few days I had to learn about 20 years of material in a day and a half. I was subbing for the other bass player who suddenly became sick. Huge operation at Dream Studios in Florida. Packed house and appreciative audiences. 4 sets, 2 shows Here I'm pictured with my Fender and my Lakin Jazz bass fretless both outfitted with @fingerramp. I just got word that one of my very best friends just passed from Nashville. We would talk and laugh for hours on the phone when I lived in LA. He really wanted to live in LA. West coast on the left. Gulf Coast on the right. Big difference. For one thing, the water in the Pacific is always cold. On the East Coast, the water is typically a great deal warmer in South Florida. Much more humid here, much more tropical. In California, the air is a lot drier. Both places have their pros and cons. Little PSA for those who have criss crossed the country.
